Meet industry icons Edward Woody, George Alderete and Thomas Slonaker from Keune at Trifecta 2017.
Edward Woody
Keune Educator and Board Certified Haircolorist Edward Woody's enthusiasm for education has led him all over the North America and the UK. When sharing his creative vision with fellow stylists, he draws from his experience as the owner of Follicle Salon and Spa. Edward's love for the industry and his unquenchable thirst for knowledge give him the ability to connect with stylists at every level.
Edward's commitment to creativity earned him a nomination in the Editorial Stylist category at NAHA. Additionally, his work has been featured at New York Fashion Week with renowned designers Badgley Mischka and Ellen Tracy.
Thomas Slonaker
After 14 years in the industry, Thomas Slonaker is continuing his success as an educator with Keune Haircosmetics. He was locally nominated for 2016 Colorist of the year from The Best of Scottsdale Magazine, and you may have seen him on NBC Arizona Mid Day as a regular beauty corespondent. Thomas has also traveled to NYC to work on hair for a national print campaign, photo-shoot for Fitness Model Magazine and has done hair for several episodes of Vh1 Baseball Wives. With all this experience, his true passion will always be working behind the chair.
George Alderete
George Alderete is the North America Creative Ambassador for Keune Haircosmetics, inspiring stylists worldwide with his unique approach to the art of hair-color placement. He believes that stylists need useable, on-trend, practical techniques for their work creating beautiful, dimensional color in the salon.
George is an award-winning colorist. He is a three-time NAHA finalist for hair color and took home the Bangstyle Supreme Colorist Award in 2015. He also is an editorial source for numerous media outlets and has been featured in Vogue, InStyle, People, Marie Claire, Angelino, Self, Beauty Underground, Modern Salon, American Salon, Salon Today, Beauty Launchpad, Estetica and others. He has worked in television with shows, such as "Next Top Model," "The Hills," "The Tyra Banks Show" and "Biggest Loser," and maintains an extensive L.A.-based celebrity clientele.
