Kevin Hughes has been a hairstylist and color specialist for over 20 years. A Long Island native and one of 12 children growing up, he trained in color at the prestigious Louis Licari Salon in New York City and attended extensive hands-on classes in cutting, coloring and styling for television and lm. He later opened his own salon and managed the business for more than eight years. In 2011, Kevin joined the Moroccanoil Global Education Team, bringing in a wealth of knowledge with enormous creativity and traveling the globe to share the latest Moroccanoil product news and brand strategies.

Backstage at Fashion Week, Kevin has worked with top designers including Carolina Herrera, Badgley Mischka and Catherine Malandrino. He led a team of hairstylists for the GenArt Fresh Faces Fall/Winter 2012 show and the Rochambeau Spring/Summer 2013 collection. He has also styled celebrities like Emily Blunt and Natasha Henstridge. Now based in L.A., Kevin’s energy and passion for teaching and inspiring others is contagious and client satisfaction is one of the most important things to him. “I’m inspired by seeing the beauty that I can bring out in people and it’s what motivates me to learn creative new ways to help the client achieve the look they want,” he shares.

Antonio Corral CaleroAntonio Corral Calero
Moroccanoil Global Ambassador

Antonio Corral Calero launched his prolific career in 1990 in Barcelona, his home, under the tutelage of one of the world’s most renowned masters of hair design, Luis Llongueras. “Luis was the one who gave me the freedom to really be creative,” Calero says of his first mentor. It wasn’t long before Antonio began his travels to the top fashion capitals of the world to work with icons including Yves Saint Laurent, MAC and Lise Watier. After leaving Europe, Antonio relocated to Montreal and became the Artistic Director of Moroccanoil.

Since then, he has served as the dynamic face and ambassador of the Moroccanoil brand—and has been a dominant presence at premier runway shows and fashion weeks around the globe including Carolina Herrera, Just Cavalli, Catherine Malandrino, Rachel Zoe, Cushnie et Ochs, The Blonds and Alexandre Herchcovitch. Calero also strongly supports the next generation of fashion, providing his compelling vision for designers such as Delpozo, Katya Leonovich, Mandy Coon, Prisim and Nomia. Calero travels around the world, representing Moroccanoil at PR events and acting as a role model in the art of hair care and design for thousands of professional stylists. He has been featured not only in notable beauty publications including LifeStyled, Modern Salon, Salon Magazine and New Beauty, but also remarkable fashion titles the likes of Elle Canada and Vogue Japan.

As an expert stylist and industry innovator, Calero is drawn to Moroccanoil because he recognizes the value of simple products that perform consistently and effectively. Moroccanoil products simplify the life of a consumer the same way they simplify the life of a stylist, in that they remain just as effective day in and day out. “We want consumers to be able to have the same experience at home as they do in the salon. Since we were founded in 2006, I realize that we have made a difference in the industry and I feel so proud to be a part of this huge accomplishment.”

What’s next for Moroccanoil and Antonio Corral Calero? “I am committed to traveling the world, learning, developing and sharing my passion for Moroccanoil with others.” And Moroccanoil will continue to provide simple and effective hair care solutions, while seeking to inspire and empower women around the globe.
